The Builder builds. It takes the decision and executes. Fast, focused, in flow. But it has no objectivity on its own output—it can't. That's not a flaw. That's just how building works.
The gap between what was decided and what was actually written? That's where the Checker lives. It reads the output against the intent. It catches drift before drift becomes damage.
Without a Checker, the Brain thinks its decisions are being executed. The Builder thinks its output is correct. Both are operating on faith. Nobody's closing the loop.
